Mark received his Bachelor of Business Administration, accounting degree from the University of Toledo in 1989. Mark graduated magna cum laude and in the top ten of his graduating class. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1992.

With seventeen years of public accounting experience, Mark is a partner in Pease & Associates Assurance Services Department. He has extensive experience in accounting and auditing services for businesses in the construction industry and is a published author in various construction trade journals. Mark also specializes in accounting and auditing services for organizations in the healthcare and non-profit industries. Mark is experienced with Government Auditing Standards and oversees Single Audits under OMB Circular No. A-133: Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations; as well as U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) audits. Mark also oversees audit, assurance and advisory services to privately-owned businesses in a variety of other industries.

Mark is actively involved in a variety of professional societies and civic organizations. Mark is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also the Board Treasurer for the Cleveland Green Building Coalition. As a member of CPAmerica International, Mark has participated in CPAmerica International-sponsored peer reviews and has attended numerous CPAmerica-International programs and seminars.
