Chris has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1984. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University in 1982, majoring in accounting, and his Master of Taxation degree from the University of Akron in 1994.

With 21 years experience in public accounting, Chris heads up the Controllership area of Pease & Associates. In that capacity, his department acts as a controller for some of our closely held business clients, providing them with expert tax planning and compliance and overseeing financial statement preparation. He and his staff work extensively with numerous accounting software packages, including implementing accounting systems and training for clients.

Chris has attended a number of national tax seminars, including the CPAmerica Tax Conference, the New York University Institute on Federal Taxation, and the Southern Federal Tax Institute. He is a member of the AICPA and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
